Should have worked on a BI project end-to-end using Microstrategy as the BI tool. Provide consulting support to achieve account objectives and production success. Services include: product installation and implementation, enhancement, integration or audit to meet customer business requirements Perform data modeling, application development, technical product assistance and tuning to meet customer performance and functional requirements. Actively contribute to knowledge capital via project documentation. Has experience of leading team comprising of 3-4 developers. Experience in DWH and ETL design and implementation is a must. Good understanding of the entire Micro strategy product suite.


4. Mandatory Skills:

Develop MicroStrategy project design and reports.
Understand business requirements and translate them into application design solutions and specifications.
Assists in defining Microstrategy Standards,Conventions & Methodology.
Create necessary objects to meet report requirements.
Create and maintain Schema, Application and Configuration Objects like attributes, facts, project source, projects, metrics, filters, prompts and reports.
Maintain security for all users.
Develop reporting applications using MicroStrategy tools(Desktop, Web, Report Services Document, SDK and Narrowcaster) .
Perform quality assurance by unit testing for all reports.
Generate & Validate SQL for accuracy, peformance and adjust accordingly.
Coordinate and deploy MicroStrategy report changes between different environments.
Research on new technology to fit growing need of products.
Creates and maintains technical documentation as required
Strong experience in Databases(Teradata/Oracle) like writing and trouble shooting SQL.
Knowledge of MicroStrategy Infrastructure Requirements.

Experience working with Narrowcast Environment.
DW Data Modeling Experience based on Architectural needs for MicroStrategy .
MicroStrategy Performance Tuning Experience.
Creativity in using MicroStrategy tool features.

Experience in all aspects of software development life cycle.
