Savvy Engineers

Recruiters, do you think it's possible to find reailly savvy engineers in traditional resume databases? What sources do you use to find them? Networking? Thanks

Hi, just joined. No I don't think its possible to find good ones in a traditional database. Its about networking and who you know and a little luck!

I use a lot of referrals, linkedin and my space. Suprisingly, my space has quite a bit of engineers...

depending on your geographic area, look at industries that are depressed. Typically you can source engineers out of depressed markets, especially if your company/client is growing and the compensation packages are similar
