Hey Paul,

Thanks for the invite and the options. Much appreciated. I struggle with which option to choose. On one hand, I'd like make as many relevant contacts as possible - with the key word being "relevant". I'm fairly new to LinkedIn and want to make sure that I am getting the most out of the site.

Do you have any recommendations about which option typically works best?

How do I know if someone I am speaking with is a good referral for you? Please tell me a bit about yourself and your line of business.
