What recruitment software do you wish existed?

Is there a certain type of recruiting software that you wish existed right now but doesnt?

Does any of the software you use today make you want to punch the screen?

What part of your day is frustrating or costs you money or time?

I'm curious whats on recruiters minds...reply back with a comment and I just might build it for you.

Most of it should go away. Leave the phone, outlook, and maybe LinkedIn. This would shale out the wanna bee's and keep the real talented recruiters who know how to do their job right

Alan, I could not agree more. Most of the software that I have seen / used is designed to allow sub-standard managers to recruit sub-standard recruiters and then not have to train them in anything else but how to use said program.

My biggest frustration with them is the data  gets old fast...  The ability to have a real-time integration with linkedin to keep up with job changes would be priceless...  I have to source candidates through my database and then cross refernece back to linkedin to see if they are still at the same level or even still looking .. and I am sure I am missing candidates that have updated skills..

Luckily, Linkedin is coming out with an ATS version soon, so I can move away from my ATS and just use that!!

A CRM system that would accommodate social data and search results, that are not resumes, doesn't exist.

Roni, I may have misunderstood, but it seems as though all you have to do is add candidate's LI profiles to your database once. It can be done for lists of people up to 3,000 each, or perhaps at the time when you cross-reference. You don't need to continue cross-referencing.

Irina, would like to talk to you more about this.. Ideally, I would be looking to be able to search on the info.. But i am still interested in your approach here... can we speak offline?

Happy to talk offline - to search within your system you can probably scrape profiles but only a low number of them and with care. LinkedIn states that member data belongs to LinkedIn and dislikes anyone who scrapes data without having an agreement with LinkedIn.
