Ok, I checked it out. Tough but fair feedback: It stinks. It's clunky. I says it parsed a couple resumes but I can't figure out where they are or how to get at them. I tried the search, but I can only search places in India. India??? It may be a good tool for recruiters there, but I'm based in the US. I can't tell you at all how the parsing worked because I couldn't find my stuff once I uploaded it. Theoretically it might be a good concept, but it needs a bunch more work.

I started using this other app http://www.hireability.com/desktop/ for essentially the same thing and it's worked well for me. It's actually an Outlook add-on accessed right through my Outlook top navigation and turns my resumes from email attachments (or desktop files) into searchable contacts (vCards) all right within Outlook. I like it because it's also one less application that I have to use and I can sync it with my Blackberry. This tool you asked about is a separate app and I would need to pay to get my data back after I parsed it. The tool I'm using right now is free for 100 resumes per day. So that gets my vote. If anyone is interested you can download it here. Their support is also good - I was pleasantly surprised to get a proactive reach out from their support department after I registered asking me if I had any feedback for them or technical questions. Who does that? very nice.

Thanks Chris for the feedback. I am surprised to know that you could not locate your own parsed resumes. I am sure, you missed some step. Please use the online help file http://onlineresumeparser.com/help/index.htm to check your steps.

I would like you to try our resume parsing software - ResumeGrabber JobSuite. It is a desktop tool that allows you to parse resumes from your Outlook folders, PC folders, job boards, search engines, social networks and transfer them to your candidate database.

every resume parser has some positive or negative items. 

I recommend to try www.rchilli.com and see how it works. 

Most important, you get 70 + fields along with social recruiting field.

First Resume parser to introduce Social Recruiting at Resume Parser level.

Downloaded it, setting off some of our spyware and malware alerts. Seems a bit clunky and will require some learning to figure it out in depth. Then again, it is free... Thanks.

Allen, RChilli Resume Parser  does not have any downloadable item.   Its purely a Web API 

Seems you are talking about something else ?

RParser, which is free. Looked at RChili. It is not free but offers a free trial. Have not played with it yet.

I have tried them all and have not found what I am looking for. I want a piece of software that I can buy and install on my system that will parse a resume. I know that they are out there, I just haven’t found them. I DO NOT want a subscription. I bet that I am not alone in that statement.
