I see it's spamming season - must be something in the water....

I've been busy.  I think quite a few of us have - hopefully.  So lately I haven't been able to drop in as much.

The past few days I've visited hoping to join in on the fun and I notice the spammers are back.  Bummer.......

Note to "social recruiting training marketing resume coaches" just now finding this wonderful, treasusred community:

Please consider just hanging out, jumping in to the discussion, and make new friends.  We don't need your spam.

Better yet, let me refine that.  I don't need your spam.  Perhaps others do.

One can only hope that Nicky has now done a complete data dump of all saved blogs and the flood is over.

Hoping the same, though I wonder if these drive by spammers even slow down enough to read posts like this.

What are you guys talking about?  Are you saying I should NOT have wired that guy $1700 because he and his family had their belongings stolen on their vacation in Spain?

Kind of makes one want to go to their website and return the favor. I thought the "sling a bunch against the wall" theory of marketing had gone out of vogue but apparently not. Still smells like what it is.

they come in waves... give it another week or so it'll go back to normal. Then, in another month, more spam. :)

LOL @Stephen

I like spam and eggs...

The question is Derd, do you like green eggs and spam, and either way, just exactly how much spam can one eat before their head blows up? I guess it's the end of the month and spam reports are due today. Based on the number of telemarketing calls and spam emails I have gotten this morning it must be flooding someplace and they are coming out of their holes in a frenzy.

Is anybody else getting a flurry of emails in Chinese with excel attachments? No idea what they are or why we are getting them many are being picked up as having a virus, some not. We just delete but started about three weeks ago.

So, if I'm reading your post correctly, I shouldn't quit my job because I really don't have a 2nd cousin of my cousin's girlfriend's baby daddy's royal family who just passed away and left ME a $12.5 million inheritance?!

Not getting those, Sandra. But I did have an automated voice mail on the phone this morning in French.
