Hi Everyone,

I have a question and would really appreciate your input.  I'd like to get a gift for a client of mine - any creative ideas i.e. not a discount on fees :) ?  Ideally, I would love for it to benefit the entire engineering team (10 people) versus only the Hiring Manager, which may come across as sketchy/bribe-y.  For example: given the young, fun culture of the group, one thought was a beer-of-the-month club.

Thank you for your help,

Brad

Suggested gifts for the Hiring Manager and Hiring Team- like Dorothy's pals in the Wizard of Oz: the Tinman, the Scarecrow, and the Cowardly Lion they need: hearts, brains, the "noive". and "two outa three ain't bad."

YOWZA!

Find a local company that puts together a beautiful gift basket of sorts.  Either local product, fruits, pastries, etc.  Over the years we've done some pretty creative things.  Made in Michigan baskets for business owners/HR managers, deli trays from one of the local delis that included locally produced meats, cheeses and pickles, box of truffles from a woman who hand made them, etc.  With a team of ten employees, any sort of luncheon gift basket, etc, would probably cover everyone's tastes and let them know you are thinking about them!

Hope this helps!

Gift cards are impersonal, but often appreciated.  A gift card for a dinner out for them could also be a nice touch....with limits!

Donation to a charity of their choice
