Welcome to the Recruiters On LinkedIn Group

PLEASE NOTE: To participate (to have your information shared) you must join the group.

The goal of this group is to help facilitate connections between members and share best practices and tips on how to use LinkedIn as a networking and recruiting tool.

As this group continues to grow we needed to create a system that would appeal to the "Open Networkers" and those who were seeking specific, meaningful connections.

"New Members"

2-3 group messages are sent during the week and they focus introducing new members. So the question is, do you want to be introduced? Here are your options:

  • (A) “Open Networker” with name, email address, and LinkedIn URL as you want to connect with everyone.
  • (B) “General Introduction” with name and LinkedIn URL as you are specific about who you want to connect with.
  • (C) “Lurker” no announcement will be made as you want to be on the sidelines connecting with people as you wish.
  • (D) “Super Open Networker” you want the Open Networker introduction and be placed on the page below.

"Old Timers"

Those of you who have been around for a while have a couple of options too.

  • (A) “Open Networker” with name, email address, and LinkedIn URL as you want to connect with everyone. You can be reintroduced to the group.
  • (D) “Super Open Networker” you want the "Open Networker" reintroduction and be placed on the page below.

To be included in the group messages please send your Name, LinkedIn URL, and email address you would like to receive invitations (if "A" or "D") to the “Admin” of this group:

I am an Open Networker looking for LinkedIn Recruiters who think we can produce a simpler engagement community for splits

Working on the logic that the recruiting professions best time is in recruiting, not copying and pasting, we desire to leverage technology to let us do the sourcing, matching and details of how we work together most efficiently. By automating the time spent "exchanging" information for splits, jobs, terms and candidates, we can be much more productive.

Am I able to join even if I'm not actually a full time recruiter? I work with an advertising service, and provide outreach and education to employers specific to internet recruiting, and to job seekers mostly on the topics of e-resumes and online job hunting.

I am on LinkedIn, though, and am always interested in opportunities to grow and develop my expertise in the staffing and recruiting environment.

Thanks,
Jason

Call Me Crazy…Recruiting Comes To CPGjobs (Finally!)
A tough economy, belt tightening at budget time, and a highly contested presidential election cycle…yes, the timing is perfect for launching a new recruiting business division!
After months of planning, we launched CPGjobs Recruiting this week and the response has been incredibly positive. You may be scratching your head, but I think the current state of the economy makes this a perfect time to launch a business that helps those of us in the recruiting industry:
1) Save time
2) Save money
3) Make clients happier

Here’s the idea behind CPGjobs Recruiting: we offer recruiters access to the most highly qualified and sought after passive and active candidates on the planet – those with solid experience in Consumer Packaged Goods. We offer this access at an exceptional, value-oriented price. And we help our recruiters screen and qualify only those candidates their clients are most interested in seeing. Simple. No sifting through thousands of (unqualified) candidate resumes. No hours spent pre-screening candidates on the telephone. And if a recruiter wants to work on a split-fee basis, we’ll do it.
Actually, I can’t take total credit for this idea. I have received so many calls from recruiters over the past several years asking for this business, and it looks like (their) brilliant idea was a good one. Now, recruiters’ open positions can sit right alongside those of our other clients – some of the largest CPG companies on the planet – at prices that won’t put even the smallest recruiting firm in the poorhouse.
Call me crazy, but I think helping recruiters do their jobs more efficiently, saving them time and money is a great business to be in in a down economy. My email is Michael@CPGjobs.com
