Thanks, Julia. I would enjoy meeting up with you at some point. I frequent many of the area coffee shops. I'm new to the blog stuff but like it so far. Let me know if you want to meet up. Stay warm!

Thanks Julia, I appreciate your kind welcome. I am a partner at Executive Search and Placement (www.ExecutiveSearchandPlacement.net) too, but the medical side is new to me so I will certainly be seeking advice! Have a great evening.

My last 2 conferences are next week and then I plan to go into hibernation until March. I will be writing about the future though and maybe there will be a hand or two of poker in it. Congratulations you are the 2008 Queen of the Staffing Poker Circuit

Julia, glad you're trying out Diigo.com. I have tried many other social-bookmarking apps but they seem to have a deeper set of solutions than the long list of other providers. And, of course, the best part is that it's free! :)

Ping me anytime you run into issues with using Diigo. I am planning on offering a free webinar session on why recruiters shoud use a Social-bookmarking app. I'll make sure to ping you when I have that lined up.

Always great to meet real people at real events. The virtual world is good up to a point...then a real connection needs to happen to bring it full circle. Hoping to connect again in the future. Cheers!

Julia - thanks for joining Talent Talk Cafe today. The depth of your experience and knowledge adds a nice mix to the conversation! Thanks much for sharing. Will you be attending either ERE or Kennedy over the next few weeks?

Julia:

Thank you very much for the welcome message. This seems like a good place to learn from others that are experienceing the same issues we are. It's certainly nice not to be alone in all of this!! Nice meeting you too!

I liked alot of your comments on the Chat today. Most critical and overlooked is constant evaluation of your client and their hiring and firing. You really have to be ready to pull the plug on any client.
