I have been aggressively looking for a Senior Linux Administrator in Southern California for weeks now to no avail! The worst part is that the client seems to be expecting too much from a skills perspective for the money they are willing to pay. Does anyone have any non-traditional methods that I should be utilizing to find these guys?

As usual, clients think that these techies should have the knowledge of everything! Reality check is in need here please. As a Ex-High Tech worker, you can ONLY know so much about something, and be good at it! High expectations are something that employers need to have a reality grasp on! Maybe they should be looking for more than one person to cover some of the things they want in just one person!
