Who is (or was) the greatest guitarist ever? I asked that question on recruitingblogs.com two years ago. It was a serious question. Someone recently replied Dolly Parton.

Think about it for a second. If you had to come up with a list of ten bands that really kicked ass where would you start?

Look, everyone has got an opinion here. But, let’s face it. A group of critics want to erase all triviality when it comes to great Guitar legends. They’ve studied this crap and evaluated who really rocked the world. So they created a list.

Now we have John Sumser the Top 100 Influencers in the Recruiting space. The best of the best from innovators to trainers in the Recruiting space - John has studied this crap and evaluated who really rocked the recruiting world. So he created a list.

Here comes a group of snarky bloggers pumping their fist in anger over all the recruiting trends. They call themselves Fistful of Talent. And guess what? They have a list too. It’s called Top 25 Talent Management Blogs.

Stop and think for a second here and ask yourself, “Why the hell am I not on a list? Who do they think they are?”

I mean all these lists, does it even matter? It’s like asking “who is stronger, Superman or Mighty Mouse?” Nobody really knows.

Here is what you can learn from a list - especially recruiting lists - you get some passionate people out there that want to make a difference. They are trying to make it in this dog eat recruiter world. And every one of them has great ideas that don't make it on a "list".

So, now I’m going to create lists on my blog and if you want to make it on the list, all you got to do is just email me. That simple, Sparky. The best ATS, best sourcer, best recruiter, best hairdo, you name it. It’s on there. If you really want to make the list complete check out recruitmentwiki and add your shtuff there too.
