Hi Fiona

This is Benji Han, and I met you at USC's Business of Video Games Event on the 28th of Sept. I wanted to follow up on our conversation about employment opportunities around the interactive entertainment industry.

Anyway, I was hoping that I would receive an e-mail from you soon. I would have sent one myself, but I couldn't find your contact info on gamerecruiter.com. I would love to keep in touch with you and pick your brain a bit further about the game industry itself. My e-mail address is heregoesbenji@gmail.com, and anymore info you need is on the resumé I gave to you.

Hope to hear from you soon, and take care.

Benji

Hi Fiona. From what I've read about the computer gaming industry, 50 to 60% of Georgia's colleges now offer degrees in game development. Because of that and a state tax incentive, game companies are beginning to sprout up near college campuses. From a financial and human resource standpoint, it makes sense for companies to do business there. If you're a student who wants to pursue a degree in game development, Georgia looks like a good place to be. With at least half of the colleges offering degrees in game development there, student have more options when selecting the school they want to attend. If you're a seasoned game developer, taking a job in Georgia may lower your cost of living. Living in Georgia is pretty reasonable.

Hi Fiona! Thanks so much for the recent "add," neighbor!

I just visited the Barton Creek Resort last week (my first trip south of the Austin) and it was beautiful! I know why people live there!

Take care -
