Survey tracking changes in employee satisfaction as the economy recovers

Recruiting expert Lou Adler is leading an important survey, tracking changes in employee satisfaction as the economy recovers. Here's the link to the survey and the results so far:

By tracking changes in job satisfaction and the impact this has on employee job hunting efforts, companies will be able to pinpoint when voluntary turnover will begin to accelerate. This "employee churn" will require additional recruiting resources to fill these replacement seats. At the Onrec Expo on Nov 3-4, you'll have a chance to better understand how these changes will impact your upcoming sourcing and recruiting efforts. In addition, you'll have a chance to work with Lou directly as he provides his own perspective on what you need to do to get ready for recovery.

Please help spread the word about the survey so we can all share in the results. Survey link: http://budurl.com/survey2

Vague survey. I think the results are the flavor of the day. Might get something of a completely different flavor next week. For the most part, most of us would talk to someone who tapped us on the shoulder. Flattery gets most our attentions (ego's?). And most of us under the current economical situation are just merely satisfied with our employers. We're not ecstatic about them because we're not sure if they're going out of business or not! Or if they will truly make it through the tough times. So that alone adjusts our opinions about our employers.

Interesting questions, but I don't think it's relevant information that I would use for a retention strategy at this stage of the game in the "are we really recovering" arena. We're a loooooong way from that.
