My team has a lot of interviews - lots of 1st rounds that turn to 2nd and 3rd rounds however our conversion rate to offers is very very low - does anyone have any advice for turning 2/3rd round interviews into offers?

I think it's the state of the profession right now Dave. With the reality being such that in most cases there is an endless parade of "reasonable" candidates your client is going to feel inclined to continue interviewing.

You can either attempt to power close them with some of the one-liners many of us learned 20 years ago....get a retainer.....or keep sending candidates in until your client hires.

This is not the kind of market where you can hold tight with one candidate thinking they're a shoe-in. It's just not going down like that right now. If your client is still taking send-outs (and they ARE) then make sure it's yours and not someone else's.
