Optical Illusion Paintings

I referred to a study on a previous blog post regarding the impact made by first impressions.  The study reported that: “55% of people base their impression of you …in the first 30 seconds of meeting you.”  This may be so, but I coach recruiters to take caution on coming to hasty conclusions.  Sometimes what looks like a bird, is not a bird at all.  As you look closer it soon becomes clear it is actually a unique mix of leaves on a tree--nothing more. Oleg Shuplyak's photo, featured here today, brought this to my mind when I saw it on Twitter moments ago.

What a beautiful picture!  Yes, first impressions can certainly be misleading - this picture proves it!

Cora Mae,

"Beautiful picture", indeed.  Then I saw Oleg's version of Van Gogh's Self Portrait...and WOW!

Now this is beautiful with a toast to a Master's classic.
