My MEMORIAL DAY SALUTE - #19 Valentino Martinez - Fort Polk, La - circa 1971 -- Basic & Advanced Infantry Training -- Readiness for Vietnam Tour of Duty.
This is my proud salute to America’s war dead. They paid the ultimate price for their country. As a Vietnam Era Veteran I also salute those of us who served along side those who never returned home -- regardless of what war or conflict. For those who served, and their families -- our respect and remembrance of them and their sacrifice is our special keepsake.
