Hi - I had a great convo with Craig Silverman about this last week. I'd like to get others' feedback too:

I see many ads for sourcing, virtual recruiting, researchers, etc... I'd love to start a following of Virtual Business Development people and have Sourcers that Research Leads and Clients [companies & decision makers] over and above sourcing new candidates.

How would you build a strong, national, virtual team of business developers / researchers / sourcers? How would you incentivize them and manage them?

That's what we're doing here at Omnikron. Our recruiting engine seems to be really well-oiled - so now we are looking for entreprenurial folks to help us virtualize sales.

Start with the end in mind. What do you envision these virtual BD folks bringing to the table for both you and your clients? How do you currently incent your BD team? Why not use that as the model?
