It wasn't that long ago that texting was considered new and exciting as a recruiting tool. The explosion of social media tools, all free, is giving recruiters new ways to find and connect with candidates.

LinkedIn, Facebook, Ning, MySpace, Twitter. Yes, yes, we know those are all used. There are hundreds more.
