AVIATION RECRUITER

Yoh Aviation, a leading provider of long and short-term talent, has an immediate full-time opportunity for an Aviation Recruiter. Utilizing pro-active recruiting techniques, this candidate will source and screen engineering talent to fill immediate openings as well as pipeline for future opportunities.

Position Purpose

A recruiter is motivated and determined to uncover the “Best” candidate for the position. The recruiter is responsible for generating candidates for particular opportunities within a specific industry and geography. The recruiter is held accountable for personal production while contributing to the overall success of the business center. This position is the stepping stone to developing relationships with local talent by cold calling, networking, and mining to build professional relationships with customers and candidates.

Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

•Follow up regularly with candidates and customers to maintain relationships to build knowledge of needs and opportunities.
•Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
•Attract applicants by placing job advertisements via the Internet and/or newspapers
•Utilize creative sourcing techniques and network with active consultants
•Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements
•Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with account managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.

Requirements

•2 years of engineering/manufacturing recruiting experience, preferably in staffing
•Proven success in placing engineering/manufacturing consultants (permanent, contract, temp to hire)
•Experience recruiting for engineering/manufacturing positions.
•Experience in utilizing traditional and non-traditional recruiting techniques
•Knowledge of state and federal laws as the pertain to hiring
•Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet recruiting tools
•Great attitude and team player
•Successful completion of background screening process
•Proven Success in a high volume, fast paced environment
•Experience in recruiting on a national scope


Desired Qualifications

•A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources AND/OR relevant experience in a similar engineering recruiting role.
