Someone just sent me a link to some place named UNYK. Some sort of address book thing. Not quite sure. Don't really care.

What I do care about is how these places are deciding on their names! I'm assuming they were shooting for their name to be pronounced "Yoo Neek" - what with the trendy spelling and all. But to me Unyk spells "Yoo Nik".

Now maybe it's just me - but giving your company a name which sounds exactly like another word which means "a castrated man, in particular one castrated early enough to have major hormonal consequences" is absolutely unbelievable!

Anyone remember the Chevy Nova? Top selling car in the US. But they were not selling to the Latin community. Guess why.......

In Spanish Nova means "does not go".

I - for ONE - DO care!
