As a recruiter, each interaction I have with my clients and candidates needs to move them closer to their desired outcome. That outcome is likely different for each of them in some way, but also similar in that it probably means hiring a top producer, or being hired by a top employer. When a handful of interactions with a client or candidate moves them quickly and efficiently to that goal I have laid another course of block in my foundation for "My Future In Recruiting".

Forget the high-powered recruiting tools, social media, conferences, edgy corporate branding, and the latest white paper on staffing metrics; at the end of the day it is about closing good business and earning the right to sit at this desk and do it again tomorrow because I provide "measurable value". How it is done is of no interest to those who pay me, for them it is only important that it gets done, and that we have won (again).

It is for me to know how…
