Iam suneeta .hegde working as a Manager HR with MNC : Iam a generalist HR ,hence recruitment is one of the aspect of my generalist responsibilities :

Recuiting people is a great excise as it indicates growth, maintains a positive atmosphere in the organisation, In the time of recession with so many confused faces around & a sense of insecurity in the air one cannot deny the vibe the recruitment creates in a small or a big organisation.

Challenge in recruitment is finding the right person for the right job: A right person is not just by qualification but the person with the ability to sail through in the organisation , live / accomdate oneself.

Recruitment is the back bone of an organisation as it gets the new blood in . Freshness of the ideas & agression rejuvinates the organisation , ofcourse getting the right candidate in right time is also equally crucial .

When it comes to working in limited time frame recruitment consultants play a great role : Making them understand the need of organisation is one of the important task, once that is done they never leave a stone unturned to get that manpower ,sometimes they get gems but most of the times we need to adjust to stones by finding some color on it . But they are the quickest in getting almost 60% matches .

Other times small help of job portals , refferals , extranet , resumeware do their little wonders at times .

Recruitments should never stop as this is the lively froce which gets the organisation going
So recruitment is not just my future as a HR manager but also the future of the organisation
