ULTIMATEJOBBOARD.COM GOES ONLINE TO REDEFINE AN INDUSTRY
New York, NY, Jan. 20, 2010 – Three years ago Christopher Poreda, then owner of a successful executive search firm, was fielding calls from several well known job boards, each touting unique service offerings. “After sitting through well-meaning product demonstrations I realized that most job boards were cluttered and indistinguishable from their peers,” says Christopher, Chief Architect and Founder of ultimatejobboard.com. “I’ve used job boards for years to complement my recruiting efforts. I was surprised how little has changed in the most important aspects of a job board: search, relevance, research, and user experience, especially given advances in technology.” Christopher also wondered about their evolution. “Each Website’s evolving identity would confuse any user; the focus on the job search was lost among features for resume writing, career services, community chat rooms, social networks, blogs, survey outlets, and advertising portals. Somewhere along the way the beauty of simplicity was lost.”

The site combines a clean interface and state-of-the-art technology with research tools and industry defining search and filtering capabilities. Christopher insists that, “Although easy to use, the technology is complex and cutting edge. As for making the site available for free, “Our mission is to create a platform where all job-seekers, and those who wish to engage them, have access to each other, regardless of budgets and other familiar constraints.
