Total Back Office Solutions can give you recruitment agency formation advice

People looking for recruitment agency formation advice will be glad to hear that permanent and temporary staff appointments increased in June, according to the latest Report on Jobs.

The document, published by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) and KPMG, revealed that the number of staff appointments increased at a slower, but still marked pace during the month.

Recruitment companies outsourcing back office services to an agency will be interested to hear that the higher number of placements was underpinned by a further improvement in demand for permanent staff.

"This is an encouraging sign that the jobs market is stable and, in some sectors such as construction and engineering, rapidly growing," commented Kevin Green, chief executive of the REC.

"However, with the predictions of up to 600,000 job losses in the public sector, it is still too early to tell how much of a knock-on effect this will have on job creation in the private sector."

Recruitment agency survival rates are improving, according to Recruiter, which revealed that the number of those calling in administrators declined in the last quarter.
