Thanks for adding me to your network! I've never been affiliated with any formal "recruiting" network (if you can believe that)......so I'm pretty much a lump of clay that needs to be molded. Looking forward to sharing success with you all!
I hope recruiting is treating you well. Feel free to ask me for any help you may ever need. I work in direct and contract staffing within I.T. and over the past 20 some years I've seen it all!
December? Hmmm. I have only been at this since October but have made a few placements since February. I recruit in a different industry so maybe that makes a difference.
I see you're in Engineering. Anything in the Defense Industry? I was a 20 year I/T recruiter getting out in 2003 as the jobs were heading to India offshore outsourced and being given to H-1B's here.
I had a company request my services to fill their open jobs but the salary is just too low. I feel like i'll be wasting my time or if i get these candidates willing to take such low pay, they probably won't be that good! Any input is highly appreciated.... I have some of the positions and the salary company is willing to pay;

Hi Mack: I use to hire IT folks for the health care industry from time to time (02-05 timeframe). Have you ever thought of exploring a systems job in a public or private large acute care hospital(s) or group of hospitals or multi-sector (acute, long term care and community care) - particularly if they have a role in the educational formation, training and credientialing health care professionals. They're often have complex IT systems for decision making, management systems, finance, technical health fields and medical records - together with a lot community & state partnerships with near by collegres, universities, government and other strategic partners. It may be worth a look! Best of Luck. Mike L for Pembroke ON Canada
