Senior Manager, Diversity Recruitment HOPKINTON MA
This position will be in charge of multicultural recruiting initiatives and strategies to assist EMC in our efforts to successfully penetrate underserved candidate populations. This individual will develop, support and drive national recruiting initiatives and corporate strategies to grow our workforce.
This position reports to the Senior Director of EMC Recruiting Services, with a matrix reporting relationship into our Corporate Diversity organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop a long term diversity recruiting strategy for EMC, across all lines of business and with a heavy focus on external outreach and candidate generation programs
o The role will require a strong drive and an entrepreneurial way of thinking to recruit and attract top talent
o Additionally, this person will partner with our University Relations team to create and implement a diversity recruiting strategy at the collegiate level
- Partner with direct recruiting team to provide on going, expert level guidance on recruiting tactics and candidate generation/sourcing strategies
- Directly recruit for designated or senior level positions as required by the hiring demands across EMC’s various lines of business
- Partner and interact with each of the key business areas at EMC; engineering/development, manufacturing, sales, global services and acquired companies to develop and execute recruiting strategies designed for their specific needs
- Partner with University Relations team to co-manage and organize the execution of Diversity recruiting events at top universities and business schools in the US
- Partner with Corporate Diversity organization to ensure tight alignment exists between external candidate outreach activities and internal corporate inclusion programs
Qualifications:
- 6+ years prior experience in recruiting and/or recruiting program management at senior levels
- 4+ years prior experience in diversity recruiting or diversity program management is required
- Previous experience in running diversity recruiting programs in a high tech environment is ideal
- Well established and intact relationships within professional affiliations and diversity recruiting focused organizations (HBCUs, SHPE, SWE, NSBE, NAAAP, etc.) as well as intern organizations (SEO, Inroads, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate with limited supervision and possess superior decision making skills
- Previous experience with Executive and Senior VP level management (formal presentations, regular meetings, and consistent written and verbal communications)
- Seasoned presenter with both internal and external audiences
- Strong computer and software skills required; Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
