I was reading a fairly incoherent article in Fordyce Letter, written by a recruiter who called herself a 'thought leader', calling herself a 'pioneer' in retained search, switching her business model after only 16 years as a contingency recruiter. In particular, this was someone who insulted me viciously for not being a retained recruiter (although I have done retained searches since 1989, about three times as long as she had).
How does that make someone a "thought leader/innovator" to knock the people who are much more experienced and who came to the same conclusion a decade or so earlier?
Just more examples of Fordyce Letter's very weak journalism and poor grasp of the Headhunting industry... written by outsiders for the even more clueless, apparently.
