Are any of you using this technology? I am interested in learning more about it and any input would be helpful.

Thanks!

HI Carrie,
I've not had a chance to try out or demo this service, but we've spoken to the leadership team there and it's worth checking out. TalentVX - http://www.talentvx.com/
Thanks,
Jonathan
I just can not believe the amount of effort they put in to setting up a business based on Skype. If you have a web cam and Skype why in the world would you need this company?

Yes, considerable effort has been put into developing TalentVX. TalentVX enables recruiters to schedule and record Skype Video interviews for free. Recruiters using TalentVX find the key benefits are the ability to stream the recorded face-to-face interviews for faster decisions, leading to superior hiring outcomes and productivity gains. It's a little similar to how TV is for free but sometimes you want to record a program to share and watch later.
Hi Carrie,

I did this my own way a couple of years ago. In this case we were in a corporate setting for a major ERP software company. The biggest problem with SKYPE was that it is generally rejected by most company firewalls. What we did to work around the issue was this:

We sent the candidate the Webcam as a recruiting/marketing ploy. This was theirs to keep regardless of whether they got hired or not. Then we scheduled the interview through the company's Webex account. That was not blocked by the company firewall and we had an unlimited account anyway. The final interview was then conducted by the hiring manager/decision maker.

The end result was a phenominal savings; $100K per quarter candidate travel costs reduced to $6K per quarter. Not to mention all the time and coordination it takes to schedule flights, hotels, and interviews with an entire team for a day.

Hope this is helpful. It appears that these people have found a way to capitalize on the upcoming use of technology that's already in place.

Sincerely,
