Insane.

Things like this erode the trust-basis between recruiters/candidates. We all try diligently, on a daily basis, to build these relationships and have ENOUGH obstacles as it is.

I also imagine the selling company is creating significant exposure brokering Personal Information in such a manner - I hope they studied all the recent legislation very carefully.

If I saw a company I had entrusted with such personal information (contact, specific education and work histories) selling it on Craigslist I would be making a slew of phone calls - that's for sure.
