I have just emerged from a longer than usual session with my sex-therapist, Dr. Flesch-Kincaid. He has concluded that my blogging style alienates most readers. He said recruiters seek something more casual than the lasting relationships I crave for in my blogging.

The learned doctor has observed that the attention span of the average blog-reader is 2 minutes and 52 seconds. He complained it takes that long to just to get through my rambling introductions and obscure links.

"Is it any wonder you struggle with unrequited love," he asked, reminding me that his was the second opinion.

"But, Doc," I complained, "my weekly round-up takes hours to compile. What should I do?"

"Cut and paste, Ami, and think of England."

"Cut and paste, Ami, and think of England."
My goodness, what wit!

You're not gonna believe this, Ami, but many of your readers don't know what "cut and paste" is.
It's true.
Maureen, one doesn't need to know what "cut and paste" is to "clickety-click," does one?

That said, I would be amazed if the majority of readers don't know what cutting and pasting is and how to do it. On what basis do you assert this "truth?"
