Company Description Chronos Consulting client is a leading manufacturer of premium chocolate and cocoa. The products include: bulk chocolate, cocoa, chocolate covering, coating, powders, chips and chunks, decorative products and fillings. This is a newly created role for an ambitious sales driven individual to open up new markets in South America. You will be identifying and creating opportunity with large food manufacturing companies, distributors and foodservice, hotel & restaurants chains.
Job Description Reporting to the General Manager based in Brazil, you will be responsible for: strategic planning, identify opportunities, establish contacts and create (from scratch) a business plan expansion into South America (excluding Brazil) create and implement go-to-market strategies with distributors, foodservice, hotel and restaurants chains and medium to large food manufacturing companies. develop and execute a international business plan able to deliver a range of volume, margin, and profile objectives with P&L responsibility. implement the strategy for all business segments, collect and manage competitive intelligence gathering to ensure proper pricing, sales & marketing support, and over all customer service in this international environment working closely with colleagues in Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Logistics and Operations building and maintaining relationship, partnerships and closing deals
Skill Required University degree in business or food science MBA is an asset 10 - 12 years international experience in sales of confectionary, food ingredients, coffee, gourmet / premium or speciality food products is highly desirable. create presentations, proposals and contracts on an international basis, business development and networking proven sales track record and well connected with Foodservice, Distributors and/or Food Manufacturing companies in Latin America passionate and pragmatic with exceptional negotiation & communication skills, relationship builder and a deal closer
