Capita is looking for a Volume Delivery Manager in Central Cologne, Germany

Overall Objective: To manage, motivate, develop and retain the volume delivery teams responsible for resourcing into the Capita Group. Driving and evolving the service offered ensuring achievement of the business plan and retention of our clients.

Develop and implement management process and procedures to achieve KPI’s, team development and service growth

 

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Manage the Delivery team to drive profit in line with business plan  
  • To develop the recruitment team, recruiting, inducting, training and mentoring in line with Capita standards, setting stretching, achievable quarterly and monthly objectives working in conjunction with the  with the solutions Manager for the training and development.
  • Absence Management ,Performance Management of team; including PDR’s, 121’s, PIP’s, managing under performance, objective setting and target reviews both monthly and quarterly.
  • Identifying areas for procedural / solution improvement
  • Management of  distribution of workloads within timeframes agreed
  • Act as the first point of escalation for own team within client division
  • Devise and agree individual strategies for your business areas including workforce planning , building demand plans , attraction strategies , Assessment Centres
  • Responsible for auditing teams
  • Drive continuous improvement focused on service performance
  • Accountable for proactively managing issues/complaints to ensure the identification and elimination of root causes of failure
  • To act congruently with the Capita culture, acting as a role model and taking an active role in the management team
  • Ensure Resource Planning is sufficient to meet the fluctuating demands of the recruitment model
  • Keep abreast of market trends which may have an impact on our ability to attract and retain candidates
  • To keep the Lead Delivery Manager / Director appraised of any staff-related issues which may affect the service delivery of the Recruitment Teams
  • Create and manage a culture of continuous improvement and change across the delivery teams through regular review and communication of processes and procedures.
  • To work with Sourcing Manager and Marketing to devise and implement a Direct Hire Strategy to ensure that direct hire targets are achieved and exceeded
  • Conduct weekly team meetings to  facilitate information sharing, team performance management, client updates and any legislation changes to ensure high morale and to provide a forum for team discussion
  • Meet with RBP’s regularly to ensure open communications
  • Highlight business opportunities to relevant RBP’to, support growth and promote communication
  • Dashboard Analysis enabling you to use for future decisions and past trends for your business area.

Skills and Experience

 

  • Strong and proven experience of working in the recruitment industry in a  volume delivery capacity in a very fast paced environment
  • Strong experience in resource planning , Assessment centres , demand planning
  • Proven track-record managing a team including experience in managing performance and developing high performing teams
  • Experience of effective stakeholder management, building positive relationships, engaging and collaborating effectively with others
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to persuade and influence others
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to deliver complex workload within agreed timescales
  • An ability to interpret, analyse and evaluate management information to make sound business decisions and provide advice to others
  • Proactive problem solving skills. 
  • Work collaboratively  with candidates, managers, stakeholders, colleagues and suppliers at all levels
  • A confident and resilient approach when dealing with conflicting demands
  • Experience of presenting recruitment solutions to clients and determine correct course of action
