Feedback on Emp.ly social media recruiting service appreciated

We recently launched the first version of Emp.ly: a free social media recruitment tool to post job ads with one click, get a short URL, share job ads to social media like Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn and analyze the results.

We are now looking for people to try it out and give constructive feedback. You can just go to http://emp.ly/ to login, post an ad and share it quickly on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.

All jobs are also automatically posted to job search engines like Google Base, Simply Hired and Indeed.

Mostly our target market are small businesses who do their own recruitment, be it a business owner or manager. In most cases these are companies who have no HR people or recruiters and who do everything themselves. In many cases they are also low on budget and skip job board ads, going instead the referrals and spreading the word for free route. Quite often they have also no functionality to publish their jobs on their own websites.

Being in job board business in 10+ countries for almost 15 years myself, I don't think social media recruitment will replace job boards any time soon. Still it is an important tool for any recruiter. And yes, sourcing is just a small part of the whole social media recruitment tools portfolio, but a good start.
