Exactly what do the best Embalmers have in common with the best Recruiters?


My take:

  • The smart ones are still learning and improving
  • They both can deal with cold customers
  • Both present their clients in the best possible light
  • Both take pride in a job well done
  • They are up for the challenge and are results oriented
  • Work & customers will be constant for the foreseeable future
  • Both will experience unresponsive deadbeats and vacant stares, as in, nobody's home
  • ...and some assignments will require heavy lifting
  • …your thoughts?

The "unresponsive deadbeats" I refer to are those hiring managers and HR types who get back to you when they get back to you--if they get back to you at all.
