Hi

I'm compiling an international list of job-oriented sites with beautiful and clever logos. This includes: job boards, resume builders, forums for recruiters and/or job seekers, recruiting associations, etc. The logo needs to come from a site that's job search/recruiting related.

Please reply with:
* the url of any corresponding job site that comes to mind
* Optional: your blog url (if you have one)
* Optional: 1-2 lines about why you chose the logo (you can do this for each logo)

If I use your submission in the final list, I'll link to your blog or LinkedIn profile.

Finally- if there's a way I can help you these days, don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks in advance,

Jacob

PHM Search Group has a great logo and colour scheme! Really though; I think we have one of the nicest business cards going... Green, black and white? Pretty fresh!
Thanks for the great reply, Jessica.

How would you explain the Akken logo?

Brent, at the minimum I need the url to your site.
Sorry about that, Jacob.

www.phmsearch.com

However our website is currently under re-development and we're looking at releasing the new one (with any luck) in the next month (after about 5 months of work put in to it!). Hopefully it's at least half as snazzy (please don't hold my use of that word against me) as our current site!

What's wrong with 'snazzy'?

Thanks for the link, Brent
This is not a recruiting tool - but a placement tool (brand new category) which won the Animal award for best new tool of 2008. It could very well be because of the logo itself. The website is www.verbalsummary.com

Yes - I am biased because it's mine!

Akken provides software for staffing/recruiting companies...so I thought it's close enough since it serves the industry ^_^

Sorry Jessica, I should have been clearer. The Akken logo definitely matches the criteria I gave above, but how would you explain the meaning of the red/blue/green symbol in the logo?
I vote for Jerry's!!!!

Simple logos are great - but sometimes you want to go with something topical and fierce. The original logo we had was nice, simple, and a little too boring. Franki (my lovely and talented wife) handed me the child and told me to entertain her while she did something. Hours later, the logo, site, and packaging were reborn as something much closer to my personality.

Jessica- thanks for the explanation.

Jerry, Jim - thanks for the submissions.

Keep them coming, everyone! My deadline is next week, so there's still time to get your logo favorites in.
Thank you Claudia. Is this the contest to have a chef come to your house? If so - thank you for the vote! If not - thank you anyway!

I'm not saying mine is the greatest in the world, Kind of simple...but the meaning during these economic times really meant a lot to me when I was designing it..."the glass is half full" will hopefully encourage any prospective client or partner to walk away remembering that this too shall pass!
