Imagining SourceCon 2010 Atlanta. Can You Dig It?

SourceCon 2010 represents you, the Recruiter. It represents the hard working Americans fighting in the trenches every day to create a safe, clean, and healthy planet while using the latest in Boolean search string technology. That’s why I am challenging the folks at ERE to embrace my vision of SourceCon 2010 in Atlanta (Not San Diego).

The stage is your basic five story iPhone that comes with a 200 foot long video screen in the shape of Bluetooth Jawbone headset on each side. This stage is designed for the Georgia Dome and is part of the World Wide SoureCon Live Set ®

On each row of the iPhone will be a panel of speakers and each speaker representing an iPhone app.

The first presentation comes from Leslie O’Connor, the brainchild of SourceCon 2010. Her presentation aptly titled, “Impacts of Outsourcing Sourcing and the Outsourced Sourcer Community.”

Next up is Shally Steckerl. His presentation is “Hacking LinkedIn.com while using GoogleWave to build a Facebook Fan Page.” Yes, you will be able to download his iPhone App cheatsheet afterwards.

As we all know, Kevin Wheeler is Kevin Wheeler, right? Kevin won’t actually be on the iPhone stage but he will be a hologram and will broadcast live from New Zealand. SourceCon 2010 is a global conference and how cool would it be to have Kevin do his presentation in a rural backdrop as sheep graze lazily on a grassy knoll.

Then PunkRockHR Blogger, Lorrie Ruettimann, speaks on “Why Corporate America Sucks and will Suck 10 Years from NOW and continue to Suck until the END of TIME.”

Recruiting Animal presentation: “Insensitivity Training for Sensitive Co-workers”

Jenny DeVaughn: Building online communities within a community of social media communities outside of recruiting but inside of HR branding.”

Michael Marlatt: Get off my Cloud Computing.”

And wrap it up with Dr John Sullivan: Implementing Staffing Plans While Conducting Massive Layoffs.”

Please share your thoughts and visions for SourceCon 2010 here in Atlanta.
