Event Description

Does your compensation philosophy support your company's business objectives? Can you demonstrate to senior leaders how your current strategy is affecting the company's bottom line?

As an HR leader, you play a key role in your organization's success. It's crucial that you work with your company's executive leaders to develop a compensation strategy that supports company business objectives.

In this one hour session, Stacey Carroll, SPHR, MBA will present the basics of leading an organization through the steps to align its compensation philosophy with its mission, and values. This webinar will give you a core understanding of the connection between business and compensation strategy.

You'll learn how to:

• Identify business objectives, and determine points where your compensation strategy can provide the most support.

• Develop a compensation philosophy that promotes your organization’s mission and values.

• Perform an impact analysis that demonstrates how a compensation re-design could align compensation programs with business priorities.

• Establish support from decision makers and guide company leaders through the process of answering important compensation questions.

Ms. Carroll is an adjunct professor in the College of Business and Economics at Western Washington University and has worked in human resources for the last 12 years at companies such as Nordstrom, Trendwest Resorts, CH2M Hill and Western Washington University.

This webinar has been approved for 1.0 Strategic credit towards HRCI re-certification and 1.5 strategic credits towards CHRP re-certification.
