I just spoke with Ken at www.wintheview.com yesterday. His team developed an interview prepping/coaching tool which sounds like a perfect solution to your situation. You can call him directly at 610-941-0700.
Yes, I've developed an interview tool located at www.wintheview.com
It helps a job seeker prepare for an interview by creating a presentation on why they are the solution for a particular opportunity. We have hundreds of success stories and I would be surprised if it didnt' help your candidate to nail the interview!

Here is a press release on the tool: Please give me a call with any questions.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Digital Action Inc. launches on-line Interview Preparation and Presentation tool that helps people differentiate and stand out during the interview process to win more job offers.

Plymouth Meeting, PA — May 9, 2008 — www.wintheview.com is a step by step process that helps job seekers prepare for and present their skills in a very powerful way during the job interview. It’s based upon best practices in recruiting, solutions selling and career consulting providing job seekers with a competitive edge, helping them to “nail the interview”!

This low cost, easily accessible tool is applicable to a wide range of career positions and is web based, available to job seekers anywhere at anytime. The final product is a printed solutions based presentation or “discussion guide” that the job seeker uses to clearly articulate and match his or her skills to the position requirements. It can be used to guide the interview and as a “leave behind”, creating a very powerful impression. Other features include a process for creating accomplishment stories and a follow up center which help job seekers to write high impact follow up letters. It also includes several on-line libraries that help the novice or expert in developing strong and relevant content to make a positive and remarkable impression!

Ken Diamond is Founder and CEO of Digital Action, Inc, and also the creator of this unique interview approach. Diamond points out that the interview is really a sales process, and the product is the candidate. Diamond’s background in sales of high tech products, sales training and ten years of recruiting experience provide the foundation for this web based candidate differentiating tool. “Most candidates usually wing-it”, says Diamond. “I have interviewed thousands of candidates in my recruiting experience and they typically are not proficient in self-branding and struggle with confidence and preparation. Just by going through the wintheview process, the candidate’s confidence is bolstered and it translates to a superior performance once on the “interview stage”.

A recent WTV success story: “I am convinced the WinTheView presentation won the day for me. I so impressed a somewhat skeptical Hiring Manager with my presentation that he told me he was recommending me for the job when we completed the last page.”

WinTheView is available now on a subscription basis to individual job seekers via the web and through licensing agreements with recruiters, outplacement firms and career consultants. Affiliate and partner programs will also be formed with the on-line community including employment web sites.

About WinTheView:
WinTheView has been created by Digital Action and a product of Digital Career Services. Digital Action is a national recruitment and consulting firm leveraging experience, relationships and technology to help people advance their careers.

David,
I was unclear about your reference to spammers. Are you referring to my post on this list?
I wondered that myself Eric. I was the first guy to reply with a recommendation to the problem/issue the poster was facing.

I have nothing to do with the product I referred but did think it offered a solution.
Well- hopefully David will step up and clarify his post. Once a person makes a post he should be willing to stand behind it. On the surface it sounds a little harsh.
Mary:
I hope that I don't get the web noodle slap for promoting my own materials, but I would send the candidate to my youtube channel - www.youtube.com/medsalesrecruiter
I have some great tips on interviewing, talking money, the brag book, the 30/60/90 plan, etc.
I hope that helps. I send all of my candidates there and I have gotten a lot of good feedback from other recruiters.
Good Luck.
I recommend the Complete Q & A job interview book by Jeffrey Allen you find at amazon.com.
Hi Mary,

I have an excellent interview prep doc if you want me to send it to you. Two things I coach interviewees: interview yourself in your bedroom mirror; it really gives you a good idea of how you interview, and you can practice improvements and if you have a bad habit, like tapping your foot, pick a specific piece of jewelry that you will notice as you talk and use it as a reminder NOT to repeat the behavior.

Regards,

Laura Henry
