Just today I found and commented on a blog posting titled
Video Resumes: Can You Trust Them? I liked the article and think it reiterates how important it is to understand exactly how videos can fit into the hiring process and what should be expected from them.
There are several video solutions out there - video resumes, video interviews, video conferences (i.e. Skype), video introductions and others. Each brings a unique value proposition to the table and the future of hiring will probably include a mix of multiple different types of video.
If recruiters are ever going to adopt a video solution, they simply need to find the one that benefits their business.
