Recruitment Marketing Lead- Research In Motion ( Waterloo, ON)

Reporting to the Manager, Strategic Services, Internal Communications, the Recruitment Marketing Lead will be responsible for strategic solutions offered to stakeholders, and provide leadership and daily support to account specialists (recruitment marketing and events). The primary focus in this role will be to provide effective marketing solutions and support to achieving recruitment goals. This position will partner closely with the Employee Communications Lead and Manager, Creative Services Brand to ensure continuity and transparency of the employer brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and maintain a highly responsive service team for all project requests and associated deliverables
Motivate, influence and support team in achieving group and individual objectives
Manage the performance management process as it relates to setting and managing objectives, provide continual feedback, solicit performance feedback and deliver performance assessments for team members (marketing and event specialists)
Ensure that recruitment goals within requests are understood, supported and actionable
Lead efforts to translate and execute strategic direction into detailed marketing plans, which includes the implementation of advertising, media and communication strategies to support recruitment goals
Promote effective management of project requests, from initiation through to implementation; providing ongoing direction and management of team efforts and the communication of project status to stakeholders and senior management
Proactively prepare for projects by working with main stakeholder groups to determine needs for upcoming fiscal year
Contribute to the development of departmental service timelines and deliverable costs, and promote the education of stakeholder groups
Proactively seek out and identify recruitment marketing trends, contribute to competitive intelligence gains and seek out unique recruitment marketing plans for stakeholder groups

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years recruitment marketing/advertising experience
5 years supervisory experience
Strategic(recruitment) marketing planning
Business or Marketing degree an asset
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Analytical and detail oriented
Excellent judgment and decision making
Able to work with minimal direction
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize deliverables
Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio)
Willingness to travel (occasional)
