In addition, you would implement Design For Manufacture techniques to ensure manufacturing requirements and standards are considered for every prototype design. You would also develop and manage complete documentation packages for building prototype and production-level equipment. Our designers produce assembly renderings that are presented to customers and investors and interface with vendors and machine shops.
Need to understand design needs and translate concepts and sketches into mechanical drawings for manufacturing
10+ years of relevant industrial design and CAD experience
Expertise in SolidWorks® and PDMWorks®
Expertise with system and assembly drawing
Understand metal, sheet metal, and plastics manufacturing
2. Mechanical engineers
Experience with a range of mass-production technologies (for example, die-casting, molding, stamping, sheet metal, and/or forging) and are fluent with SolidWorks®, read on.
We need engineers experienced in mechanical troubleshooting and problem solving. Our engineers think, live, and breathe design conceptualization and optimization, always seeking to minimize material and costs while developing more efficient designs for manufacturing.
You should be comfortable participating in rigorous and vigorous design reviews and be willing to engage in simple experimentation and research to resolve design issues.
3. Electrical engineers
Skilled at SPICE/PSPICE circuit simulation
Component optimization experience in switching-mode power supply, inverter, or converter design
Experience in motor control and embedded system design
Must be able to conceptualize, prototype, experiment, troubleshoot, and refine designs.
Expertise in printed circuit layout and fluency is SolidWorks® are strong pluses
4. Optical Engineers
Experience in imaging and non-imaging optics and in optics design and optimization.
Knowledge of inexpensive replication technologies, materials, manufacturing issues and capabilities, and manufacturers.
Must be able to conceptualize, prototype, experiment, troubleshoot, and refine designs is a must; fluency with SolidWorks® is a plus.

5. Manufacturing Engineers
Lead subsystem development from concept through pilot production
Work with team members to optimize the manufacturability of our systems with an eye to performance and cost reduction.
Identify the best manufacturing processes for our plastic, metal, and sheet-metal components and ensuring that each design is optimized for the chosen process.
You would work closely with vendors and manufacturing facilities.
Must- haves:
10+ years of relevant high-volume manufacturing experience
Expertise in SolidWorks® design tools is required
Hands-on experience with a proven record of bringing designs to production is a must.
General expertise with low-cost, high-volume manufacturing
Familiarity with high-volume manufacturing techniques (molding, forging, powdered metal, etc.)
methods
Full project life-cycle experience is a plus
6. Machinists
You will need to work with our mechanical engineers and designers to develop prototype ideas and machine prototype parts from SolidWorks® designs. Our machinists also act as liaisons to third-party vendors, such as material vendors and manufacturing partners.
