UPDATE: Today LinkedIn has also added OpenSocial applications such as we have here on OpenNetworkers.info which you can add to your Profile confirming a further move towards web 2.0, away from web 1.5.

Collaboration
One of these applications e.g. is the file sharing application (Box.net) we also have on the ON. So if you add e.g. a presentation on the ON using this box.net application, it will automatically show up as well on your LinkedIn profile.

Blog sharing
The also have the BlogLink applicatio, meaning you can add your ON profile hyperlink (go to 'My Page and copy your 'mypage' hyperlink to your LinkedIn profile) thus automatically showing all the actions you will do on the Open Networkers (it will auto-read the RSS from your ON Profile). Bit by bit they are trying to copy the ON strategy on which you can have just one place to publish, but with which it will be possible to reach all on all network. That is why we have created such a large crossportal network using all the same cross portal widgets and tools instead of giving all our energy to just one website / portal. You will be able use the ON increasingly effective bit by bit as all of these Portals will add the same OpenSocial applications....
