Recruiters - I'm interested in what problems you face with your accounting back office system. Do timesheets go missing? Do candidates require instant updates on when they're going to get paid? Are invoices paid late? Please share your thoughts here!

I don't have any of these problems, because I use ECS for my back office. They are fabulous! They handle all the timesheets, and best part is they pay me when they pay my candidates. I don't have to wait for the client to pay, which is a huge advantage. And each Friday, I have direct deposit into my account. I get a spreadsheet by end of day Thursday with my financials, showing weekly hours and profit to be deposited the next day. And Jennifer Baxter and Ed Kelley are great to deal with. They can be reached at

How much does ECS charge for their service? I presume a % of the bill rate?

Hi Robert,

Yes, they charge a percentage of the bill rate. It's very reasonable. Call them and ask for Ed Kelley.
