Can anyone recommend a good format for developing an Action Plan for our staff? We basically know what we want to track and would prefer to provide everyone with the same format to start with from scratch. I've researched some of the training materials we've gathered over the years in addition to a pretty extensive web search and can't seem to come up with anything.

Happy Holidays!

Hi Mark,

We create a simple strategy plan at the beginning of the year and we leave it as a "working" document changing it every quarter and when necessary. We solicit feedback from our hiring managers, review business plans and hoshin plans so that our plan mirrors their goals. At a minimum our plan outlines our market's demographics, competitors, best practices/techniques that work, best resources to attract candidates and our plan has timelines. If you have several actionable items that you want to include in your plan attach a TAR (Task Assignment Record). The TAR can be a simple Word document with tables. We do not have a special document or template although we want the content for each market to be consistent. We use PowerPoint to document the plan. Best tool to use for presentations.
Hi Norman,
