One time, I had a trouble-maker named EJJ (no names, here) who was a software engineer who complained that I didn't understand what software engineers did and that I was "harassing" him and his colleagues. I explained to him that I have an engineering degree, graduated from Princeton University, and had taken programming classes starting when I was 11. He still wouldn't quit complaining.
Next, some of his co-workers started saying I sent more email than any other recruiter on the planet, and produced a graph to "prove" it. I examined the graph, and the only thing it proved was that they (software engineers) were only receiving email about once every 90 days, far less that "30 job offers a month". I threatened to sue for libel, so they removed my name from their fake list.
Does anyone else have stories of lying candidates complaining about being contacted?
