Mother’s Day 2011

I love my mom.  She has been the most supportive influence in my life.  Since the beginning of my time on this planet, my mom has never once told me she was disappointed in me or that I had failed her – though I know I have on multiple occasions. She has showed me unconditional love.  Unconditionally. 

Out of her own six children that she raised and several others that crash landed on extra beds and floors, I KNOW my mom loved me best.  But I will bet you that my sister will say the same thing, as will each  of my brothers.  My mother knew that the mother-child bond was the result of more than a birthing process.  It is the result of a lifetime of hurt, fear, work, pride, joy, giving, taking and priceless love.  

On this special weekend, I wanted you, Mom, to know how much I love and respect you. And to offer you my heartfelt thanks for all you have given, shared, taught, and bestowed.
