Your story will be judged on a lesson learned, aha moment or new insight gleaned from an experience with true recruiting "horror". To enter, submissions must be posted in this forum category.
A panel of Judges will narrow the field by scoring entries on 2 categories: 1-5 for originality and 1-5 for the lesson learned. The top 5 entries will be put in front of the community who will choose the winner.

RecruitingBlogs.com “Your Recruiting Horror Story” Official Rules:

SPONSOR: RecruitingBlogs.com (“RBC” or “Sponsor”), New Haven CT 06515.
Timing: The Contest commences at 8:00 pm ET Monday, October 31, 2011 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on Friday, November 18, 2011. Winners will be announced on Wednesday, November 30, 2011. (“Contest Period”).
Prize(s): The prize will be one (1) Wi-Fi 32GB iPad 2 ($599 value). Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value for a designated prize or for a component thereof if the designated prize should become unavailable for any reason. Winners are responsible for all taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and/or use.
Eligibility: The Contest is open to those ages 18 or older at the time of entry. Employees of RBC and their immediate families (parents, siblings and children, spouses of any of them, or persons domiciled with any of them) are not eligible.
Agreement to Official Rules: Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Contest Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. Winning a prize is contingent upon a participant fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
How To Enter:
To enter, submit your story in the “Your Recruiting Horror Story” forum category. One entry per member and Entrant must be a member of the RecruitingBlogs.com community. Sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, illegible, or incomplete entries or entries not received for any reason. Entries become sole property of Sponsors, and none will be acknowledged or returned. By entering, Entrant warrants that his or her entry (1) is original and does not infringe the intellectual-property rights of any third party and (2) has not won an award.
Judging:
The top five entries will be selected by a panel of judges and will be judged based on the following criteria: (1) originality and appropriateness to contest theme (50 percent) and (2) for the lesson learned from the experience (50 percent). A scale of 1-10 will be used for each criteria for a maximum score of ten (10). The top five entries will be featured on RecruitingBlogs.com from November 21, 2011 – November 28, 2011 and the community will select the first place winner. Incomplete and/or inaccurate entries and entries not complying with all rules are subject to disqualification. Decisions of judges are final and binding. Winner will be notified by e-mail on 11/30/11. Winner’s entry will also be published on RecruitingBlogs.com.
Winner has two (2) days from the day the Sponsor sends notification to respond to and confirm the winning entry by sending an email to Info@RecruitingDaily.com containing all information requested by Sponsor in the notification. If the initial winner does not respond within this period, the prize will be forfeited and issued to the next winning entrant. RBC is not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, misdirected or unsuccessful efforts to notify winners. If a prize or prize notification email is returned as undeliverable, the prize may be forfeited and the next winning entrant will be selected. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
Publicity: Participation in the Contest constitutes the winner’s consent to Sponsor’s and its agents’ use of winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration from Sponsor to the winner.
