Do you have an app? Does it help?

Hi, I have just had a very simple app made up and linked to my recruitment site, you click and it displays the latest jobs and some social feeds and contacts, seems to do the job. But I am interested in those out there who have apps that actively announce new jobs etc.. Do you think this works, or is it more of an annoyance? and what is your general experience of using apps to attract candidates - basically, does it help?

Might not help, but feel it will be a MUST w/. the data/studies showing the increase on mobile use. This is indeed how many will explore what might be out there for new positions. Nice to see that you are ahead of the curve. Is the one you create are to manage/update or on auto-pilot?

We already have our site configured to a responsive layout - so that it adapts to all mobile formats, thought this was kind of essential, the app was just an extension of that, our tech guy used a 'plug in to the CMS from Weever apps' to do the job, whatever that means - looks great though. I guess anything that drives traffic can't be bad!
