When candidates miss the mark they get zapped out of contention by the recruiter or the employer's Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Pre-screening questions like:   salary requirements;  the need for sponsorship to work in this country; and relocation limitations can all eliminate a candidate as a contender.

Words to the wise--if you don't want to get tased as a job candidate by the gatekeepers or their ATS --apply to jobs and employers that align with your interests, qualifications and geographical preferences and other pertinent concerns. 

Otherwise you're wasting your time and theirs.
