Technical Writer - Contractor

The primary deliverable for the position is technical manuals based on oral and written content from systems software engineers. The programming manuals will be used as the primary reference manual for our customers who are also very technical high-performance application programmers. These manuals are also intended to be used by the administrators of the system software, and therefore will also address ordinary day to day tasks and troubleshooting methods.

Responsibilities
In this position, you will be delivering a variety of documents such as application notes, user guides, and developer manuals ranging in size from 1-100+ pages. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Interacting with engineers, managers and teams working on advanced system software development under challenging release schedules
• Responsible for the technical writing on a user-focused documentation of software products
• Defining and applying required styles correctly and editing for clarity
